Anther Lessons from Hospital Ministry…

Year after year…
. I saw people crying over their health
. I saw people grieving over diagnose
. I saw the hopeless in the face of cancer

I found many blessed facts

#1 Those who grieve the most after diagnosed are those who have HEALTHY lifestyle

. eating healthy
. regular exercise
. good sleeping pattern
. less stress
. etc

They thought they deserve the best health!
when cancer strike they cannot face the reality!
Doctor find no answer on it!

#2 Those who have a grateful attitude will have their peace reserved during the storm

Yes, they are crying over the facts, they are scared too
But, they don’t quickly react to the circumstances by immediately changing the eating habit or sleeping pattern in
And, they are “cool” in the face of disaster

#3 Those who care so much about what they eat and drink, those who have so many “rules” for their health are those group of people who have a high risk of getting bad disease 
*Phew

Doctor's advice: "be careful with what you put on your mind because it is far more dangerous with what you put in your tummy"



#4 NOBODY immune from every disease
. people with healthy lifestyle or doesn’t care about health at all
. people with close relationship with the Lord or distance from God
. people who take care of what they eat and drink or those who basically enjoy everything

Every kind of human being have a risk to get bad disease!

That situation speaks of my spiritual health
Praying . Reading Bible . Fasting . Serving God
Just like those people who live a healthy life doesn’t guarantee they won’t be sick

my spiritual commitment doesn’t guarantee I’m immune to all troubles!!!


In fact, God allows circumstances to come to my life for an eternity purpose
Through the storm God happing, moulding, transforming my character to be more like Jesus

#5 Healing is God’s sovereignty!
I witness 2 people having a bad disease
Giving the same effort
Putting the same level of faith
1 healed and the other one passed away
1 healed on earth and the other one enjoys the healing in heaven


Be grateful for everything: good and bad
Be thankful for everything
The “healthy” attitude that helps in every circumstance!

Tahun Baru...Hidup Baru...Harapan Baru... ...komplit deh... Ternyata surprise diawal tahun OK juga ya...hehehehe...semua ini berhubungan dengan our baby... Sugar Level Awal desember lalu...pas lagi scanning dokternya bilang baby-nya a bit fat *waks* ...aku sering baca-baca di internet...klo baby yang fat itu gak baik...banyak gak baiknya deh...akhirnya dokter langsung minta aku test darah karna dia curiga sugar level-ku naik fyi karna papaku seorang penderita diabetes jadi diawal kehamilan aku udah jalanin diabetes test...saat itu sugar levelku berada di level ideal (5.4) ... Hari itu pas dicek...ternyata sugar levelku naik tinggi sampe 9.6 *o'o* ...dokter langsung minta test darah lengkap 3 hari kemudian...ada kemungkinan karna aku baru abis breakfast jadi sugar level naik, tapi menurut dokter harusnya naik gak setinggi itu... aku sendiri gak merasa konsumsi sugar yang tinggi...malahan sejak hamil gak doyan ngemil sama sekali...makan bener" sesuai porsi gak ada yang berlebih...

I am a mother  I am a teacher  ...I was *forcefully-unwillingly* resigned from my job due to lack of competency  #knowlegde #skills #ability I am helpless I have to "throw my kids to the pond" and let them learn to swim by themselves it was scary I was frighten  since P1 Calvin got a bad review of his composition and it continues until P3 the feedback form teacher shows how hopeless they are in Calvin's composition it seems the bookworm in him didn't help him at all instead it led him to "the cartoon world" when the scene jumps from one place to another and the story just not connected each other I have 2 options 1st. help him with compo and guide him with my broken English 2nd . let him continue the journey by himself I choose 2nd option because it much better than the 1st ones there is a purpose for every circumstance! there is a God's purpose that He planted in every circumstance that He allows i...

NO maid + no BS = ?

HHhhhhmmm...mari kita liat formula yang ada BS=Babysitter NO maid + No BS = Sleepless Night ...sejak calvin lahir sampe sekarang hampir 4 bulan...aku sama sekali belum pernah merasakan tidur malam yang pulas sampe pagi... NO maid + No BS = Struggle ...tentu saja...aku komit ke calvin untuk ngasih dia asi ekslusif selama 6 bulan, jelas aja aku harus selalu ON saat dia minum susu dan anak yang minum asi tidurnya lebih singkat dari anak yang minum formula... No maid + No BS = No time for myself ...semua waktuku hanya untuk calvin...klo orang lagi jatuh cinta ngomong you are my everything keliatan picis banget...tapi bagiku kalimat itu kena banget ke calvin...he is my world...apapun yang aku kerjakan pasti berhubungan dengan calvin ...yang namanya jalan-jalan, santai-santai, kongkow-kongkow sampe malam sama teman-teman udah di delete tuntas dari kamus saya...hehehehehe... No maid + No BS = stuck @ home ...aku cuman bisa keluar ama torkis, mungkin ini lebih ke alasan malas, klo keluar strol...
